• 32 Hours of In-Person classroom Participation at one of our locations
• The class is 3 consecutive weeks.
• Students cannot miss more than 5 in-person classes.
• Students will receive a certificate on the 4th day of class that allows them to obtain a learner’s license at your local Texas DPS office

• Students start driving with Patriot Driving once they obtain their learner’s permit.
• Packages will include a total of 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observation. Equivalent to a minimum of 770 minutes.
• Our packages are based on how quickly you want to complete the drives.
• Students must have their permit for 6 months AND be 16 in order to get their license.

Online Participation Requirements:

• Students first start their driver’s education journey with the 32 hour online course through IMPROV Learning.
• Students have 120 days to complete the online course and obtain their learner’s permit. 
• Students must complete the entire 32 hour online course to receive their permit and driver’s license certification. 

Behind the Wheel:

• After permit is received, behind the wheel drive times are administered by Patriot Driving Academy.
• Students may begin scheduling observation hours with Patriot right away.
• Drive times include a total of 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observations. Equivalent to a minimum of 770 minutes. 
• Packages are based on how quickly you want to complete the drive time hours.
• Students must have their permit for 6 months AND be 16 in order to get their license.

Parent-Taught driving program requirements:

• Complete 32 hours of classroom instruction online.
• Complete 44 hours of driving with a parent or licensed adult 25 years or older.

• 3 Hours of driving practice
• This package will be competed within 4-5 weeks depending on availability.

• 5 Hours of driving practice.
• This package will be completed within 6-8 weeks depending on availability.
